All hunting will be based from Uhlenhorst, no. 114, Mariental district. All animals as on the Pricelist / Website / Brochure and any advertisements referring to Uhlenhorst Hunting Safaris will be available for trophy hunting. No guarantee can be given that a particular animal will successfully be taken; however, generally our hunters have excellent success. The owner and his representatives are qualified professional hunters or hunting guides, registered with the Ministry of Wildlife and Tourism (MET) and the Namibian Tourism Board (NTB).


The owner agrees herewith to deliver the client’s trophies (cleaned and dried capes and horns) to a local taxidermist or shipping company. The moment that the trophies are delivered, the responsibility is transferred to the taxidermist or shipping company. Either Uhlenhorst Hunting Safaris or the receiving local taxidermist or shipping company will notify you when the trophies are delivered and you will then be contacted by that local company. We have an excellent track record in working with trusted local taxidermists and shippers.

Namibian law stipulates that all wounded animals should be considered hunted and harvested and are to be paid in full. We will do our very best in every situation, where an animal is wounded, to try and recover the animal.

If you have special requests involving the hunt or any special health conditions ( for example: heart problems, diabetics, asthma and allergies) please notify Uhlenhorst Hunting Safaris at least 10 days prior to your arrival.

Every guest will be required to fill out and sign an indemnity form which releases Uhlenhorst Hunting Safaris from liability should any injuries or accidents occur.

A 50% deposit of the total daily rate will secure your reservation and hunting dates. In the case of a package hunt, there will normally be a set amount required as prepayment. The balance on the account is payable at completion of the hunt. Acceptable forms of payment include; personal check, traveler’s checks, cash, or bank transfer (wire). All payment is in US dollars. Deposits or prepayments are usually easiest by bank transfer (wire).
No refunds will be paid in the event of a cancellation, except for serious medical reasons which would make it very difficult or impossible for the client to reschedule the hunt within a reasonable timeframe, or in the case of death. You will likely be allowed to postpone your hunting trip for a later date, after discussion and agreement by both parties involved. Please understand that cancellations usually make it difficult for us to find other hunters to fill your cancelled dates.
