It is my privilege to be given the opportunity to share my experiences with Uhlenhorst Safaris.

The whole experience was first rate from top to bottom. The hunting was fantastic and we had the opportunity to harvest five animals: Kudu, Oyrx, Springbok, Blesbuck and Warthog all of which were gold with the exception of one which was silver.

As a hunter you can expect the finest of accommodations in regards to sleeping quarters, meals and a social atmosphere that would be hard to beat anywhere I have hunted. The food and hospitality was magnificent, the meals were served family style combined with great conversation. They wanted to make you feel at home and one of their family.

The hunting was great and their goal is to provide you with the type of hunt you desire whether it be spot and stalk or pursuit, it is your choice and they will accommodate you in any way they can. As professional hunters they are above standard, and as far as judging animals in the field I have never experienced PH’s that were more accurate. All my animals measured up to what their estimates were when harvested.

They take care of the animals in regards to caping and preparing them for shipment to wherever you plan on having them delivered.

Overall it was the best hunt I have ever experienced!!! I was very worried because I have heard horror stories about African hunts but I can assure you that you have no worries with Hoekus and his family, no hidden costs, no surprises - what they present to you is what you get: a great hunt at the price quoted and superb support services that will surprise you.
